Mean People Stink

I have to say it, but mean people do stink! We've lived in this house for 2 years and have to move. We are selling the house due to foreclosure which should save my step-dad's name. The whole time we've been here the neighbors across the street have been unmerciful jerks to put it mildly. The threats and all are finely paying off as far as I can see. We have chickens and ducks and of course it's winter time here in NJ and there aren't any flowers blooming that I can see. Well, the female jerk that's married to a complete jerk has threatened me about three times about a few of my chickens that tend to stray from our yard. They get into her flower beds (without any flowers) and she complains about. Okay fine, maybe they have no right being in her yard, but they have chickens too. So, she told me to do something with them and if I can't she'd have no problem doing it herself. Well, one extremely rainy night someone cut the rope at the bottom of the dog kennel and opened the door. The dogs got out and killed both of my turkeys, my guinea hen and several of my roosters and hens. Now these are our pets and they are not raised for food for our table. My children were heart-broken and we sent for a police officer to come to our home. The officer confirmed that the rope on the kennel did appear to have been cut and we told him of the threats and he said that if we had any more problems not to hesitate to call. Naturally, without solid proof against the jerks nothing could be done. Another day comes and she threatens me again with the same thing. Next thing I know I'm retrieving one of my roosters from my pool and it was dead and no water in his lungs. Now, we have five cats missing and I feel like hurting these people. These are poor defenseless animals that are God's creatures and shouldn't be hurt or killed. Lord knows the SPCA around these parts won't do anything about it. The female jerk beat our one dog with a metal pole and left welts on her back and head and they did nothing. She got out of the kennel and was trying to play with this arrogant woman and she said the dog was trying to attack her. First of all, she was less than a year old and she is such a baby she wouldn't hurt a fly. We finally found another home to live in where there aren't any neighbors. It's a lovely 2.9 acres and I won't have to worry about my kids, my animals or our home. NO MEAN PEOPLE!!!! Thanks for listening.

My World....

Lately I've been having some trouble understanding why life goes the way that it does. Is it the choices that we make, others make or is it just fate? Of course we all know that the choices that we make as individuals can make a heavy impact on our lives, but what about the choices that are made for us whether or not it's what we want. Personally, I think that I haven't made the right choices in my life. Several years ago I lost everything that meant the world to me because of choices that I made. I chose to cheat on my husband and that was defintely a bad choice on my part. Of course, his part in what happened between us will never be admitted so at least I have been willing to take at least 50% of the blame for the marriage going wrong. Who knows what he was doing while he spent all of those late nights out drinking and not coming home for a day or two, but I guess that wasn't suppose to make an impact on my life and what choices I made for myself at the time. Right now, I've been in a relationship for all most 8 years. When he and I met I owned my own trailer and paid my own bills. Now, all most 8 years later I've been homeless 7 different times along with my children and the bills aren't paid on time. Again, the choice I made to be with someone that I have been totally faithful to feels like a bad one. We have a 5 year old son together so I try to make it work regardless of how unhappy I may be. The unhappiness that I feel comes from the lack of stability and security in the relationship. It's quite depressing when you're with someone that obviously cannot support you or your children. I recently told him that if things don't change by the first of the year that I refuse to live another 8 years like this. It seems to me that I was doing much better on my own. Now the house that my step-father bought for us to live in is going into foreclosure because when he passed away there was nothing in place to pay off the loan. Of course Mr. Wonderful says he's trying to make money, but that line is getting old. Of course I could go back to work and make minimum wage and we'd still be unable to keep up. So, here you all are, inside my world. We're losing the house the my kids have adjusted to and no programs to help us because our names aren't on the deed. So now what? Do we go begging door to door? Write the congressman and senator? Where is our piece of the pie from $700 billion? I'll be back with a follow up once I lose my attitude.....

Anxiety

Anxiety disorders have plagued people for many years. Unfortunately for most sufferers it wasn't such a widely known disorder until about 10 years or so ago. The disorder can be hereditary or social depending upon how you have been diagnosed. How will you know if you could be suffering from anxiety? What are your circumstances? Do you have to give a big speech tomorrow in front of a large group of people? This could be known as social anxiety. Social anxiety can be your being nervous in front of a large group of people for instance. You sweat, you shake, you studder and you feel as though your're going to die. The good news is that you're not going to die. Try to relax and don't dwell on the event. Easier said than done is probably what you're thinking. We tend to dwell on things that are much less serious than we'd like to think them to be. Relaxation exercises and proper breathing techniques have been known to help sufferers as well as medication. Heredity can also be a common source for anxiety disorders. Somewhere, someone in your family blood line has had a chemical inbalance. Chemical inbalances can be treated with medication and therapy just like social anxiety. The only difference between the two is that social anxiety may only be a once in a while event. Chemical inbalances can be an every day thing and has even caused sufferers to become home-bound or shut-ins. The sad part of the disorder is that those who do not recognize the warning signs do not get the proper treatment or they could be totally in denial. Some warning signs can be depression, irritability, loss of appetite, loss of energy and mood swings. Experts in the field of Psychology are better suited to make the proper diagnosis on what you feel and how you feel. The first step is recognizing that there is a problem. Just like an alcoholic, you must first admit that you have a problem in order to get the necessary help that is right for you. I'm sure that you've heard of the old saying "You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make them drink." You can take a loved one, a friend or an associate to a doctor, but if they are in denial you can't make them get help. Clinical depression, anxiety, panic, post traumatic stress disorder, social anxiety and the list continues. These are just some of the types of disorders we as humans must face in life. Be part of the solution and take part in discussion groups and counseling sessions. You'll be better equipped with knowledge to help the ones that you love or care about.

Paranormal

Believing in the paranormal is not an easy thing to do unless you have experienced it first hand. Many have told their stories throughout the years only to be looked at as if they were crazy or hallucinating. People generally tend to believe that if you can't see it it isn't real. This is not always the case according to paranormal studies across the globe. Everything from moving objects to noises and voices have been witnessed by several non-believers turning them into believers. The one question on everyone's mind is what is paranormal? Paranormal activities can stem from entities that have either not moved on or who are attached to an object that has been left behind or any number of reasons. Jailed inmates that haved died by natural causes or execution have been said to still walk the corridors of abandoned facilities of long ago. Homes that have been built on land that may have once been a burial ground that has been moved to another location have had paranormal activities. How do we tell if it is of the paranormal state or just our imagination? There are several qualified experts in the field that have been able to distinguish between real activity and faulty wiring. They have special equipment that can measure everything from hot and cold spots to actually hearing an entity try to communicate with us. You wouldn't think for a moment that such things exist woud you? Experts have actually captured paranormal activity on video and voice recorders. Chairs moving, beds shaking, objects moving on shelves and tables, lights flickering, doors opening. It all sends a chill down your spine doesn't it? Just think, if you were listening to one of the voice recordings and actually heard an entity speak aloud after being asked a question. It all goes to show that there is another world out there. Whether you can see it or not, it does exist. Just because you haven't seen a thousand dollar bill doesn't mean that it doesn't exist. It just means that you've never seen it. The same goes for the paranormal activity. Just because you haven't seen it or heard it doesn't mean that it doesn't exist. So the next time you hear footsteps and you turn to look and no one is there, think about the paranormal. Could it be possible that you are experiencing it too?
